TwiceTouch®
TwiceTouch® is a man-down device or app for detecting and reporting emergencies.
This man-down solution, designed to protect operators working alone and people at risk, is based on an Android® app or dedicated hardware for detecting man-down situations, allowing quick reporting and management of emergencies caused by potential fainting, illness, or accidents.
Born in 2009 with the first Symbian-based smartphones, TwiceTouch® has undergone various evolutions, becoming today a benchmark for managing man-down emergencies for isolated workers.
Since January 2022, we have established a partnership with the Operations Center for 24/7 assistance management.

The increasingly frequent demand for enhanced safety for solitary workers, which became law with D.Lgs. 81/2008 “Consolidated Safety Law,” underscores the importance of ensuring prompt communication with rescue services in the event of a workplace incident. A simple and effective device. TwiceTouch Easy Badge can send a help request (voluntarily or automatically) and locate the user in real-time during an emergency, thanks to GNSS positioning (GPS, Glonass, Galileo).
TwiceTouch Easy Badge sends the help request via SMS with the location and a series of rotating voice calls.
The help request can be triggered by pressing the central emergency button, absence of movement, impact, or fall.
TWICETOUCH SAFETY CUBE
STAND-ALONE COST-SAVING SOLUTION IDEAL FOR A LIMITED NUMBER OF USERS
A simple, effective, compact, and waterproof IP67 device. It can be worn on the wrist, belt, pocket, or with a dedicated neck strap. TwiceTouch Safety Cube can promptly send a help request (voluntarily or automatically) and locate the user in real-time during an emergency, thanks to GNSS positioning (GPS, Glonass, Galileo).
TwiceTouch Safety Cube sends the help request via SMS to up to 5 contacts, indicating the type of alarm activated (voluntary or absence of movement) and the device’s location.
The help request is triggered in cases of absence of movement or voluntary pressing of the “emergency” button.
MAN DOWN APP
COMPLETE AND INTEGRATED SOLUTION APPLICABLE TO A WIDE RANGE OF ANDROID® DEVICES
The man-down app is the most complete and innovative solution, ideal for companies that want aggregated management of devices and the safety of lone workers. It is downloadable from the Play Store (Google-certified) and activatable by entering the dedicated license code.
The TwiceTouch® App can be installed on any Android® device (rugged smartphones, ATEX smartphones, tablets). The system enables help requests to be sent in cases of no movement or voluntary pressing of the “emergency” button.
Help requests can be sent through various channels (SMS, GSM voice call, Wi-Fi, GPRS), transmitting the operator’s location (GNSS and Indoor) and the necessary information for event management.
This solution also includes additional features: silent anti-aggression alarm, specific functionalities for confined spaces, information on possible traumatic events (impact), and indoor localization.
TWICETOUCH® WEB MANAGER SYSTEM
The App can be used in stand-alone mode, or for a larger number of installations, the TwiceTouch Web Manager is available. This Web Management System is accessible from any browser.
This Web Manager enables centralized monitoring and management of all installed devices, providing real-time updates on their status and locations. It allows administrators to configure settings, review event logs, and ensure compliance with safety protocols efficiently, making it an essential tool for large-scale implementations.

TwiceTouch® is a man-down software designed for the protection and localization of isolated individuals and lone workers and for the detection and reporting of emergencies.

The Man Down App can be downloaded directly from the Google Play Store and is capable of sending an emergency call and locating the worker in danger in real-time, both indoor (using radio technology and BLE devices) and outdoor, thanks to the use of GNSS (GPS-Glonass).
To use the service, simply install the app on your Android smartphone and enter the activation code provided by Engim. There is no need to purchase dedicated man-down devices.
The configuration is simple, intuitive, and customizable.

Alternatively, customers can choose an all-inclusive service by purchasing a dedicated smartphone device, configured and tested in our offices.
Based on needs and usage contexts, we offer various hardware solutions. All man-down devices are solid and robust: they are IP68-certified (ensuring complete protection against dust and immersion up to 1 meter) and are industrial-rugged, making them suitable for the most extreme conditions.
Through specific configuration, it is also possible to make the Man Down App blocking, keeping it always in the foreground and enabling automatic startup when the man-down device is turned on.

By pressing a single button, voice calls can be made to pre-set numbers.
Panic Button
By pressing a single button, the worker in danger can send a geo-localized alarm via voice call/SMS/GPRS (web manager).
Man Down
Automatic alarm sending in case of no movement, enabling prompt detection of fainting or falls.
Absence Mode
If the operator does not interact within a preset time, the emergency procedure is automatically triggered.
Rotating Log
The system keeps a history of tracked and recorded information. When the log reaches its maximum size, older events are dynamically deleted.
Localization
Allows the detection of the operator's position in danger via GPS coordinates (outdoor) or radio beacons (indoor).
The man-down device can also act as a cell phone. The alerted person can call back the lone worker in an emergency to check their condition, avoid false alarms, and alert emergency services if needed, providing the exact location of the event using satellite coordinates.
Additionally, emergency management can be entrusted to the Operations Center, which will call for assistance promptly.
PRIVACY
The TwiceTouch® Man Down App respects privacy: if opened by the user, it sends the operator’s location coordinates via SMS/GPRS/voice only when an emergency is detected and a rescue request is made. Furthermore, if the lone worker closes the application, no further information about their status or location is accessible.
*ATTENTION:
TwiceTouch® is not a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as it lacks specific certifications typically required for safety systems.The man-down device TwiceTouch® is a supplementary support to safety systems and does not replace any PPE currently in use.
